Kling AI announced on Oct 15, 2026 that Kling 4.0 is now fully available, through a refreshed creation interface on kling.ai and through MCP and CLI. This guide only uses Kling's own website, blog, docs and official X posts. Where Kling hasn't published something (such as per-video credit costs for 4.0), we say so instead of guessing.

CLI: Kling says Kling 4.0 is available through a CLI and points to its MCP & CLI Guide for setup.^[1]^[7]
Kling's own MCP article warns that available models and parameters can change, so check what your connection offers before running credit-consuming batches.^[6]

Kling has not published how many credits a Kling 4.0 or 4.0 Flash generation costs, and has not said which plans include full Kling 4.0 now that it is fully available. That file is undated and still calls Kling 3.0 the latest major version, so confirm on the live membership page before you pay.
